Oceanhunter Freediving Courses

Date:
Fri, 30/10/2009 - 18:00 - Sun, 01/11/2009 - 16:00

Taking over where No Bubbles left off, Mike from Oceanhunter is now offering freediving courses around the country. These courses are an excellent way to kick-start your freediving or spearfishing and I highly recommend them. Oceanhunter has worked very positively with the Lazy Seals and AIDA NZ, with Mike being a big proponent of the sport in New Zealand.

Sunday Results

Another big day in competition for the athletes, with more top performances. Michael Cheeseman from Australia opened proceedings with a 6:00 static in his first ever competition, followed by Alisdair Eddie setting a new South African record in dynamic with no fins. Guy Brew increased his dynamic personal best to 226m, while four other competitors did dynamics over 150m.
