Another big day in competition for the athletes, with more top performances. Michael Cheeseman from Australia opened proceedings with a 6:00 static in his first ever competition, followed by Alisdair Eddie setting a new South African record in dynamic with no fins. Guy Brew increased his dynamic personal best to 226m, while four other competitors did dynamics over 150m. Kathryn McPhee reclaimed her dynamic national record with a 191m dive and Ruth Griffin & Phil Clayton both were unlucky to miss national records for Britain.
