Apniest's Challenge

Date:
Sat, 16/05/2009 - 09:00 - Sun, 17/05/2009 - 14:20

Hello fellow freedivers! The Lazy Seals are happy to announce the Apneists' Challenge 2009, our first competition of the year. It will be held over the weekend of 16-17 May at the Trust Porirua Aquatic Centre. It is a pool competition, so divers will compete in static breath-hold, dynamic with fins and dynamic without fins. A current medical certificate of non-contradiction for freediving is required. Please contact us if you need more details about this.

The competition is open to divers of all abilities, so don't be shy! Competitions can be a great way to improve your diving buy giving you a goal to aim at, plus the chance to learn from top athletes in attendance. It's also a fun event with a good atmosphere. Also, all divers completing dives will recieve a world ranking.

Please read the attached document for further information and entry forms.
