Welcome to the Lazy Seals, New Zealand's first official freediving club. We are based in Wellington and cater for all levels of divers, from first-timers through to top athletes.

We hold two official training days a week, on Tuesday and Thursday nights between 6:45 pm and 8:30 pm at Freyberg Pool on Oriental Parade. Club members also organise training sessions outside of these times, while in the warmer months we add open water training around Wellington, weather permitting. We also make trips to Lake Taupo during summer, where we can reach deeper depths than what is possible locally. In Taupo, you'll need to be able to dive over 100m to hit the bottom!
